In Memory of Sir Pete Springate
It is with great sadness that we learn of the passing of one of angling's true icons 'Sir' Pete Springate.
Whilst the angling world has lost one of its greats, his legacy will live on in the lakes he loved and the people he inspired.
Our thoughts and condolences are with Pete's family and friends.

Sir Peter’s funeral is to be held on Friday 18th September at 2pm.

The Venue is a beautiful outdoor setting and will embody Peter’s love of the outdoors lifestyle. The wake following it will be held at the same venue he used for his monthly meetings and where he held his 80th birthday. Fountain Ashurst Ashurst, Steyning BN44 ЗАР. You will able to bivvy up in the rear beer garden if required.
Dress code no formal black, Peter wouldn’t have wanted that. Come dressed as Peter knew you he wasn’t one for airs and graces.
