Farriers Lake, located in the heart of the Cotswold Water Park, has been proudly managed by the Carp Society since its long‑term lease was secured and the lake opened on a syndicate basis in 1997, with access limited to 85 anglers.
Spanning 32 acres, Farriers is renowned for its impressive stock of large carp. The lake consistently produces big mirrors and commons over 40lb, and offers excellent winter fishing with double‑figure pike. We estimate a healthy stock of 250–300 carp, with an average weight of 30lb+, making Farriers one of the most sought-after big‑carp venues in the region.
Current lake record held by Les Bamford - Percy 50lb caught November 2024

Previous lake record held by Pete Foote is a 50lb 14oz common caught Oct 2016
