Following Derek Stritton's resignation as Chairman, we are pleased to announce Andrew Ellis has been duly elected as the Carp Society Chairman effective 30th September 2023.
Andrew Ellis
With over 30 years’ experience in the fishing industry, Andrew Ellis runs his own fishing consultancy business. Andrew is deeply passionate about good fishery management, sustainable fish stocks and building natural self-sustainable habitats. Andrew's background in in project management and fisheries operations has helped him develop strong relationships with the EA and fishery and aquatic colleges.
“My objective going forward is to expand on the principles of the Carp Society, with a strong focus on the future, develop working relationships, concentrate on education and safeguarding the future of carp fishing and fisheries”.
