Carp Society's Derek Stritton Museum & Library
At this year's Festival of Carp, we unveiled the new name of the Derek Stritton Museum and Library, in recognition of the hard work and dedication from Derek over many years as Carp Society Chairman and bringing the museum vision to life.
We would like to express our gratitude to the late Chris Ball and Len Arbery for their invaluable assistance when we first established the collection. We are also thankful to all those who have contributed over the years, and their names will be recognised on a display in the near future.
Currently, we are working on developing a museum website that will allow people to explore photos and information from the comfort of their own homes. However, to give you a little preview, here is a sneak peek of some of the museum displays.
