UPDATE 19/12/2024
Update to swims on Horseshoe Lake
Swims 73 to Springs swim (summer road bank) CLOSED
all other swims are now open
Update 06/12/2024 -
Following this morning’s walk around, water levels have started to subside; Swims from summer disabled 74 through to 46 (summer side) will be closed and a reminder we dont allow bivvying up on the Witney high bank therefor some swims (i.e. Big Double) will be unsuitable.
With the expected storm and high winds due this weekend please be mindful of your surroundings when choosing your swim, fishing and vehicles onsite are at your own risk.
Update 05/15/2024 - HORSESHOE LAKE REMIANS CLOSED
A decision will be made tomorrow (friday morning) to determine if the lake can be open for the weekend, please check back.
02/12/2024. Horseshoe Lake CLOSED
Water levels remain high, the situation will be reassessed on Wednesday 4/12
Update 28/11/2024. Horseshoe Lake CLOSED
The water levels have continued to rise overnight with a majority of the swims now unfishable.
We will assess the situation later today/tomorrow and make a decision for the weekend.
