The event is designed to teach best practices to help you catch, care for and return carp of all sizes. As well as plenty of opportunity for fishing, there will also be demonstrations and a chance to gain some first-hand experience.
Juniors will be paired up and joined on the bank with one of our experienced Carp instructors, all of which have excellent knowledge of the lake.
Over the years we have been teaching carp fishing to junior anglers from around the country, we have seen many of them go on to working in the industry and win numerous matches.

What will I be taught?
During your stay at Horseshoe Lake you will be taught all aspects of carp fishing, including:-
What do I need to bring?
You need to bring a full carp fishing kit for four days and three nights fishing (you will fish through the night as well as the day), this will include a bivvy, bedchair, sleeping bag, rods & reels, bite alarms, landing net, weigh sling, unhooking mate, spare clothing, water proofs, wash kit and a valid EA rod licence.
