WEED UPDATE
We've had a visit from Dr Jonathan Newman, to assess the possibility of treating limited areas of weed in Farriers and Horseshoe. His initial assessment is that right now, there is nothing unusual happening that would demand any immediate action, but he will revisit in 2-3 weeks time, at which point we will review and take appropriate action.
We appreciate weed is of concern to some people, but as explained in 'Horseshoe Dreams' DVD, reed is beneficial to the lake, and to the fish population, and using the right techniques the presence of weed will not hamper success.

Typical weedy swim - doesn't look that scary does it?

Pete caught 19 fish in 3 ½ days. All were caught on either Premier Baits Matrix boilies or fake corn, but Pete says the key to success was tiny little plastic bottle top sized PVA bags and light spodding.
The full list was -
19.12m, 17.04fs, 25.12m, 10.00m, 20.08m, 24.00fs, 28.00m, 17.00m, 21.10m, 16.08fs, 19.08m, 16.08m, 19.10m, 16.02m, 23.02fs, 19.09m, 25.02m, 17.01c & 26.04m.
