Carp Society Fishing Lockdown 2 - 05/11/2020 – 02/12/2020

As from 05/11/2020 the Carp Society shop will be closed and will be offering a click and collect service ONLY

The Carp Society office will remain open for calls and collections but please do not visit the office in person unless pre arranged to collect items.

Following the recent advice from The Angling Trust regarding fishing during the upcoming lockdown and fishing being permitted the following processes are in place for Fishing at Carp Society Waters 

In all instances anglers should 

- Adhere to social distancing guidelines  

- Adhere to government travel guidelines - fish locally

- Under no circumstances should anglers with covid symptoms attend any lake

- All lakes will have a NO GUEST RULE, only the angler is permitted to attend

Fishing Horseshoe Lake

Permit holders:

Current permit holders may:-

  • The lake will remain open under the current guidelines
  • No guests permitted under any circumstances until further notice 
  • Anglers must fish alone in any swim 

Permit renewals/sales please contact the office

 

Horseshoe Lake  Day ticket anglers: 

('Day ticket' is the terminology we use for members not buying a season permit, it is not limited to the number of hours or day fishing)

There will be a limited number of day tickets available, and must be booked in advance! PLEASE DO NOT TURN UP IN PERSON TO PURCHASE A TICKET! 

  • CURRENT Members who wish to fish horseshoe on our ‘day ticket option’ 
  • Can purchase a ticket by: 
  • Phoning the office on 01367 253959 
  • When buy a fishing ticket 
  • You will need to give your membership number, arrival day/time and number of hours fishing.
  • Payment will be taken and your ticket will be available to collect.
  • NO guests permitted until further notice
  • Day ticket arrivals are restricted to Monday to Friday 9am – 4pm 
  • Exiting the lake: the gates will still be locked on weekends, therefor day tickets will need to exit the lake between 9am - 12 midday by arrangement 

 

Fishing Farriers Lake:

- The lake will remain open under the current guidelines

- No guests permitted under any circumstances until further notice

- ONE angler per swim only



Fishing Little Farriers Lake:

 - The lake will remain open under the current guidelines

- No guests permitted under any circumstances until further notice
