ANDY WEBB'S TUITION DAY WITH LEE - 20 April 2009

As promised, here are a selection of the pictures taken from yesterdays session. We were fishing peg 4 on a clear patch approx 65yds out on snowman rigs over a spod area consisting mainly of hemp, pellets and corn.

The first run was at 14.15 with the 34lb 02oz coming in fairly easily. The next followed at 17.00 with the 24lb 8oz putting up a much harder fight. Then came the 29lb'er at 19.00. Just as we landed that one the second rod went off and in came the 16lb 11oz fully scaled mirror. 20.00 saw an 18lb 13oz mirror, then 15 mins after that went back another screaming take and a beautiful 25lb 4oz common was on the bank.

Just when we thought it was all over for the night, another lovely mirror weighing in at 17lb 13oz let rip at just before 23.00 and then a 13lb 2oz to finish at 00.30.

All in all, a pretty busy day with some stunning results. I'm going to have trouble bettering that for a while! Thanks Lee!! Thanks Horseshoe!

Lee was an excellent tutor! Friendly, helpful and full of hints, tips and advice that I will carry with me for many years to come. Highly recommended!!

Please also pass on my thanks to Luke for his help and advice,as this too has been really useful and much appreciated!

I'm looking forward to a followup visit in a few weeks, although I think yesterday's session is going to be a tough one to beat.

With Thanks
Andy
