OPENING HOURS

Horseshoe Lake is open all year, except for several short periods to allow events to take place. To avoid disappointment please check Events before your visit.

To fish Horseshoe you must be a current member of the Society and must be in possession of a ticket to cover the hours you will be fishing.

WEEKENDS and BANK HOLIDAYS

If you are planning to arrive outside of office hours, for example on Saturday afternoon or Sunday, we can arrange for you to collect your ticket from the Bailiff. Please pre-purchase your tickets by phone by Friday noon.

The office phone may not be answered on Saturday mornings, since we are usually busy in the shop.

2.00pm to 5.00pm
(Closed for lunch

IS IT BUSY?

We are often asked. We've got 75 swims, 20 of which are doubles. The average number of people on a normal weekend is 30-40 and Bank Holidays it may be 50ish. So you can see there's plenty of space for everyone unlike some venues where people queue behind swims.

Our office telephone is answered during office hours (see opposite) but please note that at busy times we may not be able to respond. There is an answerphone and we will get back to you as quickly as we can.

If your enquiry is not urgent you can email us.

If you are wanting to purchase tickets to fish for arrival outside of office hours, ie Saturday or Sunday, please make sure you have contacted us by Friday lunch time to pre-purchase your ticket.

REGARDING CARP CARE KIT

It has been our practice over the last three years to provide landing nets, mats and weigh slings for visiting anglers.
